Our Beliefs

  • We believe the Bible is the authoritative, inspired, inerrant, and infallible revelation of God to mankind. (Romans 15:4, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

  • We believe in the triune God.  He is the one true God and reveals Himself in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  (1 Corinthians 8:6).

  • We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Godhead, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world, and was physically resurrected from the dead as proof of the complete sufficiency of His finished work to provide salvation for all those who believe in Him. (John 3:16, 1 John 4:10).

  • We believe that all human beings are sinners by nature and by choice and that God’s remedy for man’s sin and ruin is salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ.  (Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8-9).

  •    We believe that true believers are secure in Christ forever and are called to live holy lives.  (Ephesians 4:30, 1 Peter 1:15-16)

  •   We believe the church is the body of Christ and is commissioned to preach the gospel to all the world.  The ordinances  of the church are believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s supper.  (Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:18-32, Romans 6:3-4).

  • We believe in the personal, literal, physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth prior to the establishment of His kingdom.  Those who are believers will live forever in the presence of God.  Those who have rejected Christ will be forever separated from God. (1 Thessalonians 3:13, Colossians 3:4, Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:15)
